Applications are invited from the UCSC internal undergraduate students [of CS, IS and SE programmes] who are eligible to graduate at their first attempt in 2024 with a First Class for Prof. V.K. Samaranayake Memorial Award for the Most Outstanding Student of the UCSC - 2023.
The following factors will be taken into consideration in determining the awardee:
Academic excellence
Excellence in conduct and satisfactory attendance
Participation in activities promoting University-Industry relationships
Performance in sports and related extracurricular activities
Participation in extracurricular activities related to UCSC and University societies/ Union
Contributions of a social and cultural nature that has enriched student life at the University and enhanced the overall reputation of the UCSC
Considerations towards enhancing staff-student relationships
Has not brought into disrepute, the University of Colombo and the UCSC
Students who are included in the pass lists published and satisfied the eligibility requirements of the award are requested to apply for the award through the google form below with necessary documentary evidence of achievements.
