Invitation for Compering at the Inauguration and Orientation Programme of UCSC (2026)

We are pleased to invite current first-year students to participate in the upcoming Inauguration and Orientation Programme for the 2026 intake of the UCSC by assisting with compering.

Interested students will be selected through an audition, which will be held on 21st of January 2026.
If you wish to apply, please fill out the Google Form provided on or before 16th of January 2026.

We encourage enthusiastic and confident students to take this opportunity to showcase their
public speaking skills.

PS: Please note that the Orientation 2026 is most likely to take place either during the study leave or the examination period. 
However, the Inauguration will be held on the first day of Semester One.

Christmas and New Year vacation of UCSC

Please note that the Christmas and New Year vacation will commence from 22nd December 2025 to 28th December 2025, in accordance with the Undergraduate Academic Calendar of UCSC. Academic activities will commence on 29th December 2025 after the vacation.
