- D.P.P. Samarasekera Peace Prize – 2025

- Prof. Tilak Hettiarachchy Award for Academic Excellence – 2025

Applications are invited from the UCSC internal undergraduate students [of CS, IS and SE programmes] who are eligible to graduate at their first attempt in 2026 with a First Class for Prof. V.K. Samaranayake Memorial Award for the Most Outstanding Student of the UCSC - 2025.

The following factors will be taken into consideration in determining the awardee:

1. Academic excellence

2. Excellence in conduct and satisfactory attendance

3. Participation in activities promoting University-Industry relationships

4. Performance in sports and related extracurricular activities

5. Participation in extracurricular activities related to UCSC and University Societies/ Union

6. Contributions of a social and cultural nature that has enriched student life at the University and enhanced the overall reputation of the UCSC

7. Considerations towards enhancing staff-student relationships 

8. Has not brought into disrepute, the University of Colombo and the UCSC
