Submission of Medical Certificates - Undergraduate Semester I Examinations - AY 23 - Aug./ Sept [2026]

Students who are unable to appear for the semester 1 examinations due to medical reasons are required to fill the "Medical Certificate Submission Form - UG [Sem I - AY23]" and submit the duly completed form together with a valid medical certificate, to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)/ Medical Officer (UMO) of the University of Colombo within seven (07) working days from the examination date.

Prior to submitting the duly completed "Medical Certificate Submission Form -UG [Sem I - AY 23]" to the medical officer, the students are required to submit the relevant google form below and upload a scanned copy/ image of the Medical Certificate Submission Form and the medical certificate as a single pdf file for the official records at the Examination Division. This must also be completed within seven (07) working days from the date of the relevant examination.

Note: 

  1. Duly completed "Medical Certificate Submission Form - UG [Sem I - AY23]" and the medical certificate must be certified only by the Chief Medical Officer of UoC.

  2. Students are required to submit the relevant documents in person to the Medical Centre of the University of Colombo within seven (07) working days from the date of the examination.

  3. Submission of the documents to the Examinations Division through the Google Form does not constitute submission of the medical certificate to the Medical Officer. Students must complete both requirements within the stipulated period.

  4. In exceptional circumstances where a student is medically unable to visit the Medical Officer in person within the stipulated seven (07) working days due to the nature or severity of the medical condition, the student may submit the “Medical Certificate Submission Form – UG [Sem I – AY 23]” and the relevant medical certificate to the Medical Officer at the earliest possible opportunity after the expiry of the stipulated period. However, the student must submit the relevant Google Form, together with a scanned copy/image of the completed form and the medical certificate as a single PDF file, within seven (07) working days from the date of the relevant examination

Admission Card of the Undergraduate Examinations - Semester 1 - AY 23 – 2026

All students are requested to download their Examination Admission Card from the link provided below by using the Index Number.

Please check whether all the courses for which you have registered are indicated on the examination admission card. 
 

Important:

  1. You are required to print the downloaded Examination Admission Card in an A4 size Light Blue paper and bring it to the examination hall.

  2. You should bring your UCSC Student Identity Card and the Examination Admission Card for each examination paper according to the timetable.

  3. You should keep the Examination Admission Card safe and in good condition till the examination is over.

  4. Please note that the examinations may take place in more than one examination hall. Hence, please ensure that you report at the assigned examination hall as indicated in your admission card.

  5. It is your responsibility to ensure that you refer to the examination timetable/ admission card and are aware of the date, location, and start time of all your examinations and arrive at the correct examination hall on time.

  6. You are required to surrender the examination admission card to the Supervisor/ Invigilator on the day of the last examination paper of the semester.

Warning: Students are not supposed to write anything other than their signature on the front page or on the reverse side of the examination admission card.

Shorea Robusta Scholarship – 2026/27

(4th Year Scholarship)

University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) 

 

1.    Applications are invited from interested students of the 4th year Bachelor of Science in Honours in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Honours in Information Systems, Bachelor of Science in Honours in Software Engineering Degree Programmes for the Shorea Robusta Scholarship. 

2.    Students are kindly requested to download the application from the Undergraduate LMS. The duly completed application forms should be sent under registered post along with necessary documents reach to the Senior Assistant Registrar / Academic and Publications Division, University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC), No.35, Reid Avenue, Colombo 07, on or before 31st August, 2026.

3.    Please note after filling printed application, it is compulsory to submit the same application details to apply for Chorea Robusta scholarship by using following google form on or before 25th August 2026. (online submission)

4.   The selections will be made by an interview panel by considering academic performance and the financial needs of the candidates. 

5.   The selected students will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 7,500/- during their 4th year.
