UCSC undergraduate Virtual Learning Environment

The tentative list of eligible candidates for the B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science, B.Sc. (Hons) in  Information Systems and B.Sc. (Hons) in Software Engineering degree programmes are published herewith.

The candidates who wish to follow the selected degree programme are required to fill the relevant form below on or before 04.05.2026 (Before 12.00 noon) and confirm their enrollment in the degree programme.

Eligible candidates who wish to withdraw their application for the honours degree programme should also inform their decision to the Examinations & Registration (exam@ucsc.cmb.ac.lk ) on or before 04.05.2026 (Before 12.00 noon)

All eligible candidates listed in the tentative lists are invited to the awareness session scheduled on 04.05.2025 from 9.00 a.m. in the Woo1 lecture hall before confirming their enrollment in the respective degree programme.

Note:

• Eligible candidates of the Computer Science programme are required to indicate their preference for specialization (B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science degree or B.Sc. (Hons) in Software Engineering degree) by selecting the relevant option in the Form.

• The candidates who fail to submit the Form before the deadline given will not be considered for the 4-year honours degree programme.

• The final list of selected candidates will be published on 04.05.2026

• CS students shall not be permitted to change their preferred programme once the submission of the form has been completed.

3. Your official Student Registration Number and Index Number have been added under the "User details" of your VLE profile page

You are strongly advised to use your official Student Registration Number and Index Number Number for all academic activities including examinations and assignments of the programme with effect from ​4​th May 2026

IMPORTANT: ​​

​T​he Temporary Student Registration Number issued will become invalid with effect from 4th May 2026. However, the Temporary Student ID will remain valid for identification purposes until further notice.
